A penchant for quality and beautiful livable environments, Kathleen designed and built homes that specifically met the lifestyle needs and budgets of her clientele. Her creative but practical approach to living spaces focused on, ensured the Home/Design created, perfectly matched her clients needs. Her Company was Cedar Creek Custom Builders, Inc. in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
1985-1988
Residential Home Design/Project Management
From conception through candle sticks, Kathleen worked with clients nationwide to create Home designs that related to their property and their lifestyle needs and budgets. Working for Town and Country Cedar Homes of Petoskey. Kathleen created building design,and finish schedules for contractors and suppliers that offered clear communication between homeowner and tradesmen.

Kitchen and Bath Design
One of the first CKD's (Certified Kitchen Designer) in our State. Kathleen excelled at creating unique and interesting, functional Kitchen and Bath spaces for her clients.Â
Working at Puff's of Petoskey, Kathleen won several National Design Awards plus her work was published in many Design Magazine articles.
1994 - 2014
Retail Design Studio
Owner and creator of Cedar Creek , Interiors Inc. on Main Street in Harbor Springs and in Traverse City, Michigan. Kathleen created a unique furnishings retail environment. Part quality furnishings and accessories and part, one of a kind original art pieces and furnishings from furniture builders and artists around the country. This unique collection and combination of art and furnishings was used to create beautiful creative environments nationwide.
